FIGS is seeking a talented and driven Human Resources Generalist to join our People Team! The HR Generalist will create an impact by supporting the team in all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, employee engagement, policy implementation, compliance support, and leaves of absence. We are looking for an experienced people advocate with a culture-driven mindset that fosters a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
What You'll Do:
- Develop a keen understanding of the business to ensure efficient employee support, proactively offering solutions regarding organizational and people-related matters and execution, leveraging insightful data to guide decision-making.
- Provide support to the Business Partner team in the following areas: performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, PIPs, and offboarding paperwork
- Serve as a critical connection to our amazing team members - answer questions, and help employees navigate all aspects of HR.
- Work alongside our People Team to deliver programs and processes related to workforce planning, employee engagement, performance reviews, promotion process, culture, and overall team member support.
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the People Team and organization as a whole and to improve the employee experience
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
- Run ad-hoc and regular reporting (headcount, terminations, new hires, promotions, etc.) and maintain digital files for employees.
- Assist in creating and maintaining organizational charts, and participate in the development and implementation of company policies.
- Manage and execute the onboarding, offboarding, parental leaves of absence, and workers' comp processes, including system changes and paperwork.
- Participate in HR team projects and initiatives to support organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position within human resources
- Knowledge of federal and California and federal employment laws, labor laws, and regulations
- Proficiency with ADP, Culture Amp, and Greenhouse systems preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate difficult information in a way that preserves dignity and respect for individuals

- High level of interpersonal skills, integrity, and the ability to keep the information confidential.
FIGS Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range
- At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $70,000 and $85,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
