Behavioral Health Treatment Center with an approved Quality Assurance Program, Graded B+ status (Audit 89% passed) and 8 years in serving the community, seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to Provide advanced nursing care for patients with psychiatric disorders. May provide psychotherapy to individuals, families and children with mental health and behavioral health challenges. Providing clinical supervision, over clinical staff, participating in clinical team meetings, understanding the Behavioral Health guidelines according to Nevada State Policies and regulations.
Must possess strong skills in Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, Treatment Plans and Prior Authorization documentation. Including short and long-term goals, review clinical records to evaluate the necessary level of patient care, medication management, and record-keeping for organizational and administrative purposes. Must have efficient and effective time-management skills.
Must have knowledge of appropriate billing practices, crisis interventions and protocols, electronic health record system (charts).
Knowledge of Neurofeedback and Biofeedback preferred but not required (training available)
Knowledge with developing clinical programs and services preferred.

·Monitor patients' medication usage and results
Monitor patient progress or responses to treatments
Document patients' medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes.
Diagnose psychiatric disorders and mental health conditions
Evaluate patients' behavior to formulate diagnoses or assess treatments
Analyze patient data to determine patient needs or treatment goals
Assess patients' mental and physical status based on the presenting symptoms and complaints
Evaluate patient functioning, capabilities, or health
Write and prescribe prescriptions for psychotropic medications as allowed by state regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, or clinical therapist staff, to develop, implement, or evaluate treatment plans.
Conduct individual, group, or family psychotherapy for those with chronic or acute mental disorders.
Interpret diagnostic or laboratory tests.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment.
Job Requirements:
* Must have a current and valid Nevada State Clinical License.
*DEA license for prescribing medications
