Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking an Event Coordinator with a passion for providing excellent hospitality to our venue guests. This candidate is confident in their ability to communicate with co-workers, clients and enjoys detailed work and getting things done right. They enjoy working with others and strive to provide the best possible experience for their guests.
This position is physically demanding, including 10+ hour shifts on your feet, moving tables and chairs. Our Event Coordinators are expected to work alongside the staff for the entirety of the event. A smaller portion of the work week is at a desk in the office doing paperwork and communicating with clients.

Major Tasks and Key Responsibilities:

Attend Details Meetings and lead rehearsals

Oversee wedding ceremony processional and recessional

Complete coordinator tasks during the reception

Work as a part of the banquet team

Maintain venue cleanliness at all times

Job Hours: Part-Time, Weekends and Evenings

Pay: $17-$20 per hour

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience: Food and Beverage experience preferred

Certifications: TABC, Serve Safe Food Handlers

Physical Requirements: Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours

Other: Minimum 18 years of age, reliable transportation required
