The Social Media Specialist is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to our guests through direct response methods across multiple platforms and social media channels to foster engagement with corporate and property brands. This role is instrumental in maintaining an impeccable public image of the Company to positively impact the decisions of potential future guests in choosing an MGM Resorts International destination.
THE STARTING PAY: $28/hourly.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Create content and manage social media accounts with brand voice consistency; develop content calendars in accordance with set timelines and develop hygiene creative to accompany the calendar.

Identify appropriate timeline for posting, engaging and optimizing content specific to each social media platform.

Publish content for specific brands and properties across the Company in accordance with corporate processes.

Determine various methods and types of media and channels story-telling will be integrated.

Create strategic campaigns and publish content for multiple brands and properties across the Company.

Leverage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.) to communicate internal and external brand stories.

Execute strategic campaigns and provide regular updates to partners, ensuring performance goals are being met and providing recommendations when necessary.

Assist with monthly and campaign reporting by ensuring all content is tagged appropriately and provides highest/lowest performing content with context.

Create, coordinate and maintain brand profile and other content for brand pages on behalf of social media accounts.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

High School Diploma or GED.
-
Two (2) years of experience in customer service or a related role.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT:

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business management, or equivalent education and experience.

One (1) year of marketing, advertising, or equivalent experience.

One (1) year in social media as an online marketer.

Bi-lingual, Spanish preferred.

Experience across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google project management web-based tools.

Experience in managing and working with social media tools and platforms including popular SaaS systems such as Sprinklr, Spredfast, TrackMaven, etc.

Experience working in Hospitality, Entertainment, Media, Public Relations and/or E-Sports.
