Title: Project Manager
J&M Pool Company is a fast growing swimming pool company located on the southside of Atlanta. We specialize in high end custom solutions for our clients. We are a full service swimming pool company with over 60 employees.
We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise multiple projects (at one time) from start to finish for our Remodel department. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner at the required quality and cost.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
- Assist Construction Coordinator to determine required resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations - includes “take off” sheet
- Ensure all projects maintain baseline schedule deadlines and milestones
- Complete required construction site and Buildertrend audits
- Maintain proper safety and quality requirements at every job site
- Manage subcontractors and other staff members and allocate responsibilities on site
- Supervise the work of laborers, subcontractors etc. and give them guidance when needed w/ support from supervisors
- Evaluate progress and prepare daily logs as needed
- Assist Construction Coordinator with subcontractor job quality confirmation and any invoice cost variances
- Manage all quality and safety incident reports for projects and direct reports
- Continue to drive quality, cost, and delivery improvements within respective departments
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as construction project manager or 3+ years as a construction supervisor
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material/project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Able to work within Google suite
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software (BuilderTrend a plus)
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities (ability to train, coach, listen)
- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage (Construction Management degree a plus)
