Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care and support healthcare professionals in various medical settings.
Duties:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Ensure patient rooms are clean and organized
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care
Experience:
Experience with Trach and it's care at least 2 years
Experience with G-tube at least 2 years
Experience with a hoyer lift
- Experience in basic life support techniques
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems like AxisCare
- Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or clinic settings is a plus
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Understanding of geriatric care principles
- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols
- Experience working with ALS clients in home and community care settings
