The Role:
CollegeAPP is seeking our next team member for the Business Development team. Reporting to the Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, you will play a crucial role in expanding our strategic partnerships and driving business growth. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a strong background in business development, research, and relationship management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align partnership initiatives with company objectives and ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Research and Support: Conduct thorough research to identify potential strategic partners that align with CollegeAPP's long-range goals. These may include membership organizations, consulting firms, other EdTech companies, workforce organizations, among others.
Relationship Development: Assist in the outreach, development, and cultivation of new and existing relationships with strategic partners, ensuring strong and beneficial partnerships.
Conference and Event Planning: Contribute to the planning and execution of yearly conferences and events, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and partnership objectives.
Funder Landscape Analysis: Perform comprehensive landscape analyses of national, regional, and local funders to identify opportunities for collaboration and support.
Client Success and Engagement: Support and client success and engagement for a set of clients affiliated with strategic partnership sales, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and ongoing collaboration.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
Bachelor's degree required
Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in market research
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Previous experience in B2B sales within the DaaS/SaaS or technology industry
Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM), LinkedIn and other pipeline management tools
Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in market research
Previous startup experience

The base salary range for this position has been established at $60,000 - $70,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
