Harmony Pet Clinic is a locally owned veterinary hospital that also provides services for doggy daycare, boarding and grooming for our patients and pets in our area. We are currently looking to add a full-time and/or part-time doggy daycare and kennel attendant to join our team of fun individuals. We pride ourselves in providing excellent medical care and treatment to all of our patients and amazing client service to all of their pet-parents. We have a culture of fun individuals who are passionate about the care and safety of animals.
Our kennel/daycare attendants are instrumental in providing superior care to our boarding & daycare clients and pets. Playing with the dogs is obviously an important focus for this position, but it also includes ensuring a safe and clean environment for the pet during their visit. This position will require cleaning up after and feeding the dogs, as well as walking the dog, providing enrichment opportunities and ensuring the animals are adapting well to their new environment. You will also be required to communicate with the pet-parents in understanding the needs of the dog while in our care. Typically, the shifts for this position are split into a morning shifts and afternoon shifts that are roughly 6 hours long. Morning shifts start as early as 6:30am and afternoon shifts can run as late as 7:00pm.
We are looking for someone who:

· Has a positive can-do attitude and likes to work as a team to provide the best care to customers and their pets
· Is a reliable and hard-working individual who is open to learning and has a positive attitude
· Strives to go the extra mile to help make a business run smoothly
· Experience working in a pet daycare or kennel environment is not required, but is preferred. Some knowledge about dog behavior, especially in a group environment is a plus.
· Has reliable transportation, a high school diploma or equivalent and is at least 18 years of age.
