We are seeking a Demil Supervisor to work a NIGHT SHIFT Monday - Friday at a starting pay of $28/hour. You MUST have held a leadership position in EOD or UXO operations, and have obtained a high school diploma to be considered for this position.
JOB SUMMARY
The Demil Supervisor is responsible for leading the demil operators in the safe and efficient completion of their daily tasks and responsibilities. Furthermore, the Demil supervisor coordinates with the other departments to maximize the potential of Expal equipment and materials. The Demil supervisor’s mission is to ensure the safety and productivity of the demil operators and to maintain good working relations with the other departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Effect implementation and execution of Operations Department policies and practices
· Supervise Demil Operators, ensuring safe and efficient completion of daily tasks
· Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper maintenance, safety, and materials handling/placement to allow Demil Operators to complete their tasks
· Observe production efficiency, report deficits, and make suggestions to improve performance of equipment and personnel
· Police all buildings and facility grounds, ensuring a clean, organized, and secure operating environment; report any issues to the appropriate department
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The Demil Supervisor is directly responsible for leading the Demil Operator team in daily tasks, personnel management, conflict resolution, and other issues as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
· 2 years’ experience in demilitarization, EOD, or UXO operations
· Demonstrated successful experience in a leadership capacity in the EOD or UXO field
Education
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· EOD or UXO training
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing)
· Ability to work in a well-organized and self-directed manner
· Ability to work well within a team
· Ability to exhibit effective internal and external collaboration and team building
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Ability to communicate with contractors and customers, as required
· Ability to interface with internal and external team members and stakeholders
· Ability to negotiate and gain support from all levels of leadership
· Ability to plan and organize time to work productively and efficiently while being able to adjust to changes in priorities and schedules
· Ability to maintain composure in dealing with leadership, peers, and staff, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Associates Degree
· 4 years’ experience in EOD or UXO operations
Background Prerequisites
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.

· May occasionally be required to move boxes or materials weighing up to 60 pounds
· Must be able to maintain standing and walking positions 70% of time
