Through these programs, we empower the people we work alongside to build powerful communities.
Proyecto Cuídate provides individual, group, and family services to support, inform and educate the community on topics that strengthen the individual and family unit.
Community Resource Coordinator will provide client-centered, trauma-informed services to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds Community Resource Coordinator will work alongside and collaborate with other ENH staff, partners and families to provide direct services including informative workshops and trainings in areas such as violence prevention, health & wellness, parenting skills, etc. Position includes to provide case management and follow ups.
The Full Time Community Resource Coordinator will be a position in partnership with Proyecto Cuidate Department directly impacting the Little Village and surrounding neighborhoods.
POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide administrative support, task management and education to assigned interns and staff.

Work with a caseload of participants including families from Illinois Department of Children & Family Services referred for parent support services and case management.

Maintains and responds to workshop and referral inquires.

Responsible for data collection, program evaluation and timely reporting for assigned grants.

Lead in the coordination, development, facilitation and evaluation of groups and parent services.

Provide and facilitate program workshops, training, technical assistance and support to In House and partner agencies.

Plans and coordinates community outreach and other recruitment activities through the development and maintenance of partnerships and collaborations in the community.
Community Resource Coordinator will have a strong understanding and experience in direct service community work, particularly working with immigrant families, be familiar with trauma informed services, community violence and resiliency. Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Be self-motivated, self-directed, creative, reliable, and dependable.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or related field preferred, or currently in school obtaining such degree or equivalent work experience. Master’s and LSW preferred.
