The Division Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) is Comet’s largest division and a global leader in developing and producing high-performance Vacuum Capacitors, RF Matches and RF Generators for the semiconductor industry.
We’re looking for a strong experienced technologist to lead our exceptional Firmware/Software Engineering team to develop cutting edge technologies that enable the manufacturing of the next generation semiconductor devices.
What will you do?
· Lead a highly experienced best-in-class firmware/software team
· Set knowledge and career development goals/plans for your team
· Define technology roadmaps that contribute to the success of our product roadmaps
· Design and develop real-time embedded systems (RTES) on a variety of MCUs
· Architect multi-processor embedded systems running a variety of RTOSs
· Document designs and code using industry’s best practices

Education and / or Experience
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years experience in an individual contributor role designing & developing RTESs
3+ years experience managing a team of firmware and software engineers
Solid understanding and experience in the ARM Cortex architecture and real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS
Mastery of C/C++ RTES programming, with bare-metal experience
Working knowledge of electronic schematics and PCBA bring-up
Experience in SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and EtherCAT communication interfaces
Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous testing methodologies

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
