What We're Seeking:
We are looking for a committed and passionate Piano Instructor who possesses exceptional teaching skills and can serve as a mentor to our students. The ideal candidate will be a positive team player who contributes to our lively educational environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in music performance or music education (Equivalent skill level may be considered)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Outgoing personality with a knack for working with children
- Commitment to at least a couple of years with a consistent weekly schedule (Frequent gigging musicians may not be suitable)
- Residence within a reasonable commuting distance to 90049 or 90024
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Develop and implement curriculum tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a productive and positive learning environment.
- Provide tutoring and guidance to students to enhance their musical abilities.
- Utilize experience with children and adults to create a supportive and inclusive educational atmosphere.
Compensation:
$30-$40 hourly W2, in facility
Schedule:
- Weekdays: 12:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- Weekends: 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
(*Saturdays are currently needed. Between 1-4 days per week available*)
Please note, schedules mature to the above hours and may not always start with this full shift, unless inheriting a studio.
