As the Regional Sales Manager, this individual will be responsible for managing our Facilities Solutions business in the East Region, including NJ, PA, MD, VA, DC, DE, FL, AL GA, MS, TN, SC, NC, TX, LA, OK, and AR - 100% focused on growing sales.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- .Collaborate with and further develop our relationships with Facilities Solutions Distributors.
- Grow our matting and Entrance Solutions business and achieve sales budget targets.
- Manage our local independent sales agents in each market, including activity levels, training, and sales development.
- Work actively with Key End Users in target vertical markets to drive entrance systems business back to our reselling partners.
- Meet daily with Facilities Solutions Distributors to develop sales opportunities with the End User. The ongoing focus is to maximize time in the field with DSRs, presenting solutions to their existing customer base.
- Develop strong relationships with Owners, Senior Management, and Salespersons at key Distributors.
- Work with internal and external resources/stakeholders to develop an installation team to provide custom matting solutions as needed in the local market.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on marketing activities, sales budget tracking, and pipeline opportunities along with challenges and proposed solutions.
- Conduct business reviews with large customers and sales partners via webinar or regional sales meetings/shows.
Qualifications
- Motivated, self-starter with 5 years of sales and/or sales management experience
- Strong computer skills a plus; must be able to navigate customer data. Training will be provided.
- Customer-driven, professional, responsive, and able to penetrate new accounts and build lasting relationships.
- Great active listening skills
- Hands-on type, willing to get hands dirty when required. Comfortability with a Tape Measure is a must.
- High energy level and enthusiasm for the business.
- Capable of positioning MI products to differentiate them from commodities and competitors.
- Good presentation skills.
- Experience in Jan/San or matting products a plus, but not required.
- Consistent travel: Up to 50%
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 2 years of applicable experience.
- 1-2 years of post-graduate professional experience.
- 12 months in inside sales or account management is ideal.
- Previous experience with CRM systems.
