Join Our Winning Team as an Inside Sales Superstar! We are currently recruiting for a Power Equipment Sales Specialist for our Milldale/Southington, CT, location. You will be an on-site expert who helps our customers identify and select the appropriate power equipment and supplies they need for their home or business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing and developing equipment sales while providing sales support for outside sales team.
- In this role, you will be the direct contact for equipment sales, qualifying the customer while also providing Superior service, vendor interaction and support the equipment purchasing for the EQ&S division.
- Ensure equipment is properly displayed, signed, cleaned and presented in a professional manner on a daily basis. This includes the exterior equipment display on the front parking lot.
- Attend training courses on the various equipment lines that we carry and work with factory representatives.
- Gain the knowledge of the process required with the approved equipment financing program for EQ&S. Utilize this as selling tool to grow sales.
- Ensure all customers receive service in an efficient, timely, professional and respectful manner.
- You will be the point person in handling equipment customer inquiries from internet, internal and external communication, and follow up is required in a timely manner.
- Involved in all aspects of equipment merchandising, equipment display rotation, seasonal changes outs, branch support, security and safety of equipment and merchandise for retail sales showrooms.
- Respond to incoming phone calls, voicemails, job queues and e-mails with a heightened sense of urgency.
- Your schedule will be based on the business needs to incorporate availability on some Saturdays.
- Market and process financing options for customers.
- Apply current industry knowledge while also expanding on the sales and products training for Stihl, Multiquip, Generac, Ariens, Husqvarna and other related equipment manufacturers represented or available to Superior.
- Review and understand policies and procedures and processes with existing and new employees.
- Accountable for equipment showroom, displays, store cleanliness, organization, merchandising and displays.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50lbs with full motion and dexterity
- Basic knowledge of power equipment/hand tools
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience preferred
- Customer service skills a must
Hours: 40 hour weekly schedule will vary during the following hours we are open: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Mon-Fri, 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Work-Life Balance: We offer a predictable schedule and you will be home for dinner every night. We are closed on Sunday.
