Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Services Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of guest services, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and managing day-to-day operations related to guest interactions. This role is pivotal in maintaining the reputation and operational efficiency of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the guest services team, ensuring all staff are trained and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with the maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure all properties are in excellent condition and ready for guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience.
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews, using this information to improve services and address any issues.
- Assist in developing and executing training programs for new and existing staff to build comprehensive policy manuals and training materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote properties and special offers.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest interactions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a guest services role, preferably within the vacation rental or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using reservation systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and positive demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Trainual or similar training software is a plus.
