Meet the team:
Our team is at the heart of Dexcom products! You will join a collaborative, cross-functional team that helps ensure quality, safety, and efficacy of our products to empower people to take control of their health. As a QC Laboratory Technician II, you will perform routine sample preparations, tests and analysis using laboratory instrumentation, reagents, standards and analytical test methods. A positive attitude is important while working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with shifting priorities.
Where you come in:
- You are responsible for testing finished products, raw materials, and intermediates using analytical instrumentation, such as high- performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), Gel permeation chromatography (GPC), Brookfield viscometer, UV-VIS, FT-IR spectrometer, and digital microscope.
- You adhere to all cGMP and Good Documentation Practices as required by the Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- You analyze QC samples against specifications to determine assay, content uniformity, impurities, and more.
- Under the supervision of a QC lab supervisor, perform routine testing for in-process samples, cleaning validation swabs samples, and finished product release.
- You will perform equipment checks, instrument calibrations and assist maintaining a state of audit readiness in the laboratory space.
- You will assist with Out of Specification laboratory investigations (OOS), Out of Trends (OOT) and Deviations.
- You will support laboratory staff by maintaining glassware, logbooks and supplies.
What makes you successful:
- You have a degree in chemistry or related field.
- You have experience with HPLC instrumentation and familiarity with various detectors (UV, RID).
- You are proficient with cGMP and Good Documentation Practices in pharmaceutical industry, medical device or related industry.
- You have good record keeping and attention to detail. Proficient with ALCOA+ principles, data integrity and testing documentation in laboratory notebooks.
- You have the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and instructions.
