Job Description
The Assistant Program Manager and Administrator position work directly with the Director, Operation Director, and Program Manager daily. He /She is responsible to make sure all participants need are met, run effectively in the absence of the Director, Operation Director, and Program Manager and/or director.
Responsibilities/Duties:
I. Administrative Duties on behalf of participants:
1. Apply and follow through for public housing, section 8 housing, senior living apartments, and affordable housing for participants /seniors.
2. Apply and follow through for Energy Assistance, SNAP, Medical Assistance, and other government program to help with participants / seniors.
3. Complete and update 3 red blinders every week for each participant.
4. Must be able to write care plans for participants / seniors.
5. Call or email case manager to get updated authorization for Adult Day Care.
6. Call pharmacies for a list of medications and refill medication for participants.
7. Help plan daycare activities and find outside resources to help participants.
II. On the floor:
1. Make sure all participants’ needs is addressed, help with games and activities as needed.
2. Assist kitchen staff and activities staff as needed basis.
III. Other Duties:
1. Schedule doctor appointment for all participants, take participants to doctor appointment and if needed translate for participants.
2. Handle all job assignments by the director, program manager or other miscellaneous duties as needed.
3. If short staff, you must be able to pick up participant in the morning to come to daycare and take them home after daycare.

V. Qualifications & requirements for position:
1. Must have 6 month or more office skills or experiences
2. Valid driver’s license and have own transportation.
3. Must be able to read and have strong writing skills.
4. Must have a high school diploma or higher.
5. Able to speak Hmong fluently.
6. Must be able to pass criminal background check.
7. Have knowledge of social/health provider services and/or willingness to learn.
8. Must have a good attitude, good communication skills and be patient with seniors.
9. Willingness to learn and have a positive attitude.
