**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, customer service, and hotel management. This position requires flexibility in working various shifts, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lead by example in maintaining a professional demeanor with challenging guests.
- Reports to Assitant General Manager
- Ability to lead by example in approaching and accosting guests to create personal connections.
- Must have schedule flexibility for AM, PM, Overnight, weekends, and holidays.
- Requires proficiency in English to include speaking, reading and writing.
- Must be able to multi-task
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 50 lbs)
- Assist with hotel room inventory, act as liaison between housekeeping and front desk to make sure that requested room types are available to guests by the time of check-in.
- Experiance In Hotel or Management field
Responsibilities and Job Functions: include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Make for a smooth transition between AM Shifts, PM Shift and Night Audit Shift
- Assist in training and coaching of front desk associates, making sure that they are comfortable enough with the systems to enable them to be able to create personal connections, and making sure that they are able to handle challenging guests in a professional manner.
- Greet and welcome guests in accordance with hotel standards
- Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation promptly
- Handle check-ins and checkouts efficiently and courteously
- Keeps Front Office team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results.
- Ensure all hotel standards are met
- Assist with guest relations and conflict resolution
- Stay updated on hotel services, facilities, and promotions
- Follow emergency procedures as needed
**Skills:**
- Prior experience in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using Front Desk computer systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with hospitality terminology
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
