The Boeing Company’s Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) Engineering and Product Support Organization is currently seeking a Mid-Level Information Technology Programmer Analyst to join the Defense Tech Data Services team in Mesa, AZ.
This organization supports and provides comprehensive software solutions used to develop and deploy Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) for the global AH-64 Apache helicopter fleet.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications
Leads analysis of end user processes to define application requirements, writing and compiling complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications
Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems and recommending improvements
Assists with the development, maintenance, and support of the change management, authoring, and provisioning applications along with the additional integrated applications required in the delivered IETM
Works independently as a developer and function effectively in a complex and varied domain
Leads agile teams are established for software enhancements with a mix of independent activities to support the bi-annual technical manual delivery processes
Interacts with peers and customers
Works within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results
Supports is provided to the United States (US) Army and 17 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers for the Apache and the Little Bird helicopter programs
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with Object Oriented Design and Programming in a high-level language like C#, .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, and CSS
3+ years of experience with Relational Databases such as SQL-Server, Oracle, Teradata
3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio
Willing to cover on call shifts, including weekends and after hours
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with database development (Oracle and/or SQL)
Experience in Agile Methodologies
Experience working with cloud technology
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically, 5 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $93,500 – $126,500
