Administrative Assistant
Introduction
Palm Desert Construction Company seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide clerical support to the Office Team by efficient coordination of clerical office and field activities for projects assigned.
Duties
The Administrative Assistant’s principal duty is to provide clerical support with emphasis in the following areas:
· Proficiently administer all clerical duties such as typing, filing, etc.
· Prepare all transmittals which transmit anything leaving the office.
· Acquire prelim information for all projects.
· Must be computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Be able to develop ability to assist Project Manager and Controller.
· Assist Project Manager/Estimator with bid solicitations; receiving subcontract and material quotations; preparation of bidding documents.
· Assist Project Manager to secure and organize all project close out documents.
· Be able to collect project specific documentation needed from subcontractors in a timely manner.
· Keep Business License in compliance for multiple projects/ Cities
· Complete prequalification's before due dates
· Ability to respond to customer needs.
Qualifications
· Two years administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry.
· Computer skill competency with Microsoft Office Skills, including Excel spreadsheets.
· Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
· Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
