OMS Configurator
Purpose
This position is responsible for Configuring, Testing and supporting capabilities for Order Management and Supply-Chain management related applications. This position also need to work with IT product vendor in designing, implementing and maintaining the software.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)

3-5 years System configuration & implementation experience required to perform the essential functions of the job.

Experience with Supply Chain industry applications such as Order Management /Warehouse Management / Transportation Management System / Inventory systems with configuration knowledge

Knowledge in any Manhattan Associates software products or knowledge of similar supply chain software products from other software vendors is an added advantage

Experience with SQL (oracle) and XML/XSL syntax

Experience with Excel (vLookup, Marcos).

Experience in any test management and change management software such as qTest (Test Case management tool) and Service Now (Help Desk Software).

Experience in Agile methodology tools such as JIRA, Confluence etc.

Experience with Agile development methodology to support Product Manager / Product Owner is identifying User Stories, write user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning etc.

Understand system integrations and performing system configurations and testing based on end-to-end system data flow and functional flows.

Knowledge in Manhattan Associates cloud version of the software (called as Active platform) and Understanding the Active Omni / Active Transportation or Active Distribution’s functionalities, interfaces, APIs and user exists is an added advantage.

Identifies risks and issues and escalates as necessary. Researches and document recommendation or solutions for upgrades, improvements, issue resolution to ensure a stable, available and protected technical infrastructure

Work with end users to define business requirements for new projects as well as supporting existing processes

Essential Functions
-
Provides functional support of Supply Chain, Inventory and Customer Order Management system(s). Guide junior configurators with support and serve as an escalation point of contact

Lead cross-functional projects working with different IT system teams as well as multiple Business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

Work directly with software vendor(s), i.e.. Manhattan Associates, to provide requirements & implement solutions per business needs, configure the software as per Floor and Decor business needs, report defects as well as priority to ensure fixes are provided

Integrate new products and solutions into existing environment for continuous improvement

Work concurrently on multiple projects and tasks across different business units.

Provides functional support of TMS/OMS/WMS system(s). Serves as primary source for tier2/ tier 3 functional/solution advice

Manage user issues and ticketing system related to application problems

Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)

This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week

This job typically doesn’t need travel but occasional travel may be required including air and car travel for attending training, conferences or Store / Warehouse visits.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
