The Colleyville Chamber of Commerce is looking for an energetic hands-on leader who will be an active partner with the board, the city, the school district, as well the entire membership and will continue the efforts to increase the overall membership. The President oversees all operations of the Chamber including recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising staff.
Reports to Board of Directors
Local and Regional Travel Expected
Light Travel to association trainings and conferences.
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., occasional evenings, early mornings, and weekends
What you need:
Proven success and meaningful experience in event planning, management, public relations, fundraising
Passion for connecting business leaders to resources
Ability to exercise good judgment and diplomacy in a wide variety of public contact situations.
High Comfort Level with Technology and willingness to learn new things.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Goal-oriented, reliable in meeting deadlines while working with volunteers, committees, and staff,
Generate creative solutions
Understanding of Financial Statements and Budgeting
Awareness of ongoing community activities, events, and needs
Bachelor’s Degree, experience relevant to executive leadership or a minimum of three years experience in the Chamber profession.

What you will do:
Responsible for effectively leading the Chamber to successfully achieve its mission of service to members by membership recruitment, maintenance of positive member relations, active participation in local leadership activities, overseeing all tasks necessary for the successful implementation of Chamber events and publications,
managing the organizational and clerical requirements of the Chamber office.
Advance Chamber Mission
Strategic planning and coordination of office staff, program of work activities
Membership development
Committee and Volunteer recruitment and expansion.
Implementation of current programs and new program development
Keep pulse on business interest and trends in the community
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
