Qualifications
•Recent Home Health Experience required
•A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
•Recent intravenous administration and catheter management experience
•Excellent assessment skills
•Good communication, organizational, and customer service skills
•RN licensed in the state of Texas, with current license in good standing
•Experience with Oasis documentation and Plan of Care
•Possess a current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current and valid auto liability insurance
•Covid-19 Vaccine required for this position
•Nursing: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities
•Abides by company policies and procedures as well as INS standards of practice, OSHA guidelines, State Nurse Practice Act and state board laws/guidelines
•Provides skilled nursing care including patient assessments, patient/caregiver teaching, development and revision of the plan of care, implementation of physician orders, monitoring patient response, response to emergency patient needs and psychosocial support
•Completes all required patient care documentation and reports accurately
•Submits all required patient care documentation and reports in a timely manner
•Communicates to the supervisor, physicians, and other health care providers, as appropriate, any changes in the patient’s condition
•On call availability and provides these services in accordance with established protocols
•Takes professional responsibility for self-protection during required work in potentially hazardous situations (e.g. handling of blood and body fluids)
•Represents self in a professional and ethical manner at all times
•Maintains professional licensure, certification and health requirements as well as demonstrating clinical competence in orientation programs, etc
•Participates in the orientation of other nurses as requested
•Assists in effective communication between the patient and the company, to include documentation of suggestions, complaints, and requests•Performs other duties as required
