Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Gated Rentals was formed to develop, own and operate build-to-rent home communities. We are expanding the team to support growth of our financing department.
- Oversee the organization accounting and financial operations.
- Oversee general bookkeeping and organize financial forms, documents, and receipts.
- Responsible for daily treasury and cash management functions and reporting.
- Responsible for all controller, accounting, budgeting, and reporting processes and functions.
- Responsible for administering all Compensation Plans, Benefit Programs, and employee plans.
- Responsible for administering all insurance relationships.
- Responsible for all non-Home Assembly facilities administration and management.
- Responsible for all contract management and document retention for the company.
- Responsible for the annual audit, annual third-party valuation of the Fund, all regulatory and tax fillings of all entities.
- Responsible for administration of asset management, capital expenditures and leasing contracts.
- Responsible for purchase order issuance, budgeting, and variance reporting.
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the company financials to be produced within 10 business days of the month end and reported quarterly to the investors.
- Ensure the financial controls are in place to identify and manage risks, while also utilizing techniques to enhance decision making confidence in pursuing Potential Investments.
- Contact clients and vendors as necessary to ensure accurate and on-time payments.
- Ability to compile data and documentation for audits.
- Support the COO in the review of capital and non-capital proposals to fully evaluate them for the associated returns and where progressed, investment paybacks are delivered.
- Key team member in the development and implementation of the ERP/MRP system.
- Implement financial, administration and account management teams organizational structure required to meet the needs of the business, drive best practice across teams, minimize duplication and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure that the financial, administration and account management teams have a pipeline of qualified people that are recruited and developed to ensure the current and future needs of the organization are satisfied.
- Ensure all employees in the financial, administration and account management teams have job descriptions that reflect their role and are receiving regular performance review, feedback and coaching to ensure their success.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or college hours in Accounting/Finance
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 5 or more years of related experience.
Qualifications:
- Construction/Manufacturing/Home Building industry background preferred.
- Ability to multitask across different types of accounting-related projects.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance. This is not a remote position.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work independently and respond to rapid requests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
