L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Construction Scheduler with our client based in New York, NY. In this long-term contract role you'll be responsible for providing scheduling support services.
Job Duties:
- Perform scheduling functions on complex capital projects throughout the project lifecycle in support of major areas assigned
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, utility, and timely implementation of all schedules
- Coordinate resolution of schedule issues, perform delay analyses, and participate in the review and negotiation of time extension requests and claims
- Support the identification and realization of opportunities to achieve schedule efficiencies
- Participate in the process of maximizing track access opportunities, as well as determining duration and schedule occurrence
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of construction scheduling experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Experience developing schedule delay analysis and schedule claim analysis
- Knowledge of other software applications relevant to capital projects scheduling and reporting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
