We are seeking a detail-oriented Master Scheduler to take charge of and manage our manufacturing production scheduling. Responsibilities include:
- Designing production plans
- Coordinating manufacturing processes
- Ensuring the efficient use of resources
Our ideal candidate is experienced in planning, manufacturing, and production within a GMP FDA-regulated Pharmaceutical industry. They should be able to optimize production to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity. The role of the Lead Scheduler is to ensure our company’s production operations run smoothly and are in line with business goals.
Job duties:
- Developing and managing production schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency
- Coordinating with different departments to understand their scheduling needs and requirements as well as leading cross-functional team to drive schedule execution readiness
- Creating detailed reports on production plans, progress, and any changes to the schedule including schedule attainment, throughput, scheduling efficiency etc.
- Resolving issues that could potentially impact schedule adherence and order fulfillment
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to improve scheduling efficiency
- Communicating with management and stakeholders about the status of production schedules
- Solid analytical skills, self-motivated and willing to work in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and ensure accurate/timely completion of tasks
- Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools with the ability to determine actionable insights from data
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three or more years of experience in a supply management role or related position
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management
- Excellent mathematical/analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with SAP or related ERP software preferred
