We are seeking a Supervisor of Clinical Services to lead our growing clinical team in our Naugatuck office. Requirements are a Bachelor degree in nursing. If you have an associates degree you would qualify if, within two years of starting, you complete two required nursing management courses.
Responsibilities include :
- Living the agency's Vision, Mission and Values
- The RN Supervisor will Coordinate and manage all services provided to patients and families by direct services staff under his/her supervision.
- Ensures appropriate patient coverage by qualified professional nurses.
- Provides guidance, support and oversight to nursing staff regarding case management relative only to those services necessary to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Supports coordination and integration of all QA initiatives including record reviews, quality improvement projects, external audits, surveys, compliance and reimbursement needs.
- Participation in or development of all agency objectives, standards of care, policies and procedures affecting clinical services.
- Acts as a liaison with physicians, community resources and other referral sources to ensure quality patient service and promote program growth.
- Direct evaluation of clinical competence of assigned nursing personnel and participation with appropriate supervisory staff in the evaluation of other direct service staff
- Ensures timely, accurate submission of all paperwork to support compliance and reimbursement, with collaboration of the QA department. This includes, but is not limited to: oversight, management, and achieving effective outcomes for 485, HHABN, OASIS, service orders and all associated compliance needs
