We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Application Engineering/Sales team. You practice doing unto others as you would have them do unto you believe in doing a job well and in a workplace that values honesty and accountability. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing schematics and control panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical software, according to the specific requirements and needs of our customers. You will have the opportunity to work on electrical jobs requiring AC motor drives and various industrial equipment and circuitry. You will become an integral part of a team that supports each other and works closely with our customers to provide a solution. You will discuss with prospective buyers their needs and offer quotations to them. If you have electrical experience and can talk the language that is a great plus. Also, should you be an electronic or similar hobbyist and love putting things together that "do something", then this might very well be a good fit.
Responsibilities and experience:
- You will use AutoCAD Electrical software (simple training for someone with some electrical or CAD experience) to design schematics and control panel layouts according to customer requirements and needs.
- You get along well with others and collaborate with engineers and team members to ensure successful completion of projects
- You will communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical expertise to assist with equipment installation
- Working with customers to provide solutions for companies like NASA, Tesla, Intel, Ford, Nuclear facilities, the US Navy, Army Corps of Engineers, and many more is something you would enjoy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a science, math, engineering, or technical field (engineering degree not strictly necessary)
- Very good math skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Prior experience in sales engineering or related field is a plus but not required
- You love problem solving and supporting a team towards a common goal
- You treat others as you would want to be treated
- You care about your job, the team and customer
