Under the direction of the Chief Program Officer (or their designated Director), the Program Supervisor II has multiple responsibilities to ensure that the contract quality and compliance of the St. John’s Community Health Programs Department are met to ensure quality customer service to patients, St. John’s staff, and various funding entities. The Program Supervisor II will manage multiple service programs funded under multiple grants in one of the following areas 1) Behavioral Health, 2) HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and other STIs, 3) Homeless Services, 4) Street Medicine (mobile health), 5) Domestic Violence, 6) Transgender Health, 7) Harm Reduction and Health Promotion, 8) Family Services, 9) Criminal Justice Involved Individuals and Families, 10) CalAIM, and 11) Other Public Health related programs.
This position is responsible for coordination and implementation of grant activities and deliverables and for completing grant reports. The Coordinator will work closely with the Behavioral Health (BH) Clinician for the CYBHI Round 5 grant in promoting and implementing the EBP Blues Program with CUSD and LAUSD high school students, including establishing support groups on school campuses. The Coordinator will support IBH Director in building and strengthening BH workforce and coordinating training activities for staff, including training and certification in Blues Program Model. The Coordinator will support IBH Director and IBH Leadership team by coordinating recruiting of graduate clinical student interns from partner universities seeking field placements at St. John’s Community Health (SJCH) and recruiting other persons seeking opportunities in Behavioral Health.

Qualifications/Licensure:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years related experience

Knowledge of community resources in area of residence.

Able to navigate Office suite, develop and write reports

Responsibilities:
Performs a combination, but not necessarily all, of the following duties:

Coordinate all grant related activities as required by the grant.

Coordinate implementation of Blues Program at partner CUSD and LAUSD high schools.

Create outreach/educational materials for Blues Program and help distribute to CUSD and LAUSD High Schools.
-
Establish workplan with each partner school district detailing: policies and procedures for implementing Blues Program on campus, including mechanisms for referring students, setting schedule for weekly group sessions, identifying physical space for sessions.

With BH clinician, coordinate referral and organize student enrollment into support groups.
-
Work with clinician and operations to ensure registration of students in eCW.

Assist clinician in preparing all necessary materials for group sessions.

Track student attendance and file records (both electronically and via hard copies in binders)
-
Purchase program supplies and incentives (gift cards for students).
-
Manage and document disbursement of student incentives.
-
Disseminate, collect, and document project evaluation tools.
-
Track linkages of students to other programs and services.
-
Support IBH Director and IBH leadership team in BH workforce recruiting and development; and in maintaining relationships with partner schools and universities.

Collaborate with SJCH staff/other programs to provide education on grant requirements and deliverables.

Assist IBH Director and HR in strengthening recruitment of Clinical Interns and other BH staff by developing and maintaining marketing materials, developing JDs and opening new requisitions when required, and promoting IBH Program at events, including job fairs.

Serve as administrative contact for completing field placement affiliate agreements and Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) between SJCH and partner schools.

Coordinate onboarding for new IBH staff and training/professional development activities for all BH staff.

Organize enrollment of SJCH Clinicians and school partner clinicians in required Blues Program Training

Assist BH Clinician with Blues Program presentations as needed to promote program to SJCH and School staff.

Participate in all mandated meetings/training sessions with Blues Program agency and monthly partners to expand Blues Model in partner schools.

Participate in all IBH Team Meetings

Work with applicable staff to collect and enter data for monthly reports
