Job Type: Salary, Exempt
Location: Spearfish, SD - on site.
We are looking to hire a Restaurant Assistant Manager to work directly with our team (the Area Coach and RGM) to help us open 1 A&W location in Spearfish.
Starting off, your job will be to work hands on with the Area Coach and RGM to fully set up and get the store ready for opening day. Together you will hire and train these highly motivated, high energy, and positive individuals, who will show up for their shifts and go above and beyond for their teammates and our guests.
We are looking to hire someone by July 12th, to go to a mandatory training from July 12th-30th in Lexington, KY at the A&W headquarters to ensure you get the proper training and information needed before opening day. You will then help oversee construction, set up the Spearfish location and ensure it is ready to go before opening day in September.

Your job will be hands on with daily operations and create a positive environment for growth. Taking care of the store’s needs is what is important to provide the best service for our guests. Since you will be there the most, it is important that you get to know not only your team, so you can properly motivate and train them, but also getting to know the guests, their orders, and their needs – being part of the community is key. It is also imperative to establish a teamwork environment, where we put our guests first, and everyone knows their roles and supports the Team.
Being a counter service restaurant requires high energy, positive, team oriented individuals who are passionate about the industry, provide great customer service and are ready to work. We only get one chance to make an impression on our guests and show them we care!
