We are seeking a qualified ADON/MDS Dual Role Nurse to join our team. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for overseeing both the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Minimum Data Set (MDS) functions within our facility. This role requires a deep understanding of nursing home operations, regulatory compliance, and patient care management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure efficient nursing operations.
Supervise and support nursing staff, including training and performance evaluations.
Assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans.
Monitor and maintain compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare disciplines.
Minimum Data Set (MDS) Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the MDS assessment process for all residents.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of MDS assessments and submissions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop resident care plans based on MDS assessments.
Stay updated with changes in MDS regulations and guidelines.
Train and educate nursing staff on MDS documentation and compliance.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Specify State].
Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a nursing home setting.
Strong knowledge of MDS assessments and regulations.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
