Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of post-hospital care
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, or similar platforms
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in specialized areas such as sonography, infant care, family planning, coding, esthetic laser treatment, or ostomy care is a plus
