Junior Healthcare Business Analyst

Annexa is currently seeking a Junior Healthcare Business Analyst with a strong analytical background and experience with healthcare processes and information technology systems. The job requires a consultant who can leverage this experience to assess the “big picture” and develop actionable strategic solutions. Annexa is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Services team in support of the implementation of a new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) Core system and supporting service solutions as well as other Medicaid Enterprise modules (e.g. data warehouse, pharmacy benefit manager, clinical case management system, and provider data management system). The consultant will help our customer validate that the new MMIS Core System and other Medicaid Enterprise module systems contain all the required functionality. Additionally, the consultant will work with our team to verify that the new MMIS Core System and Supporting Services solution and other Medicaid Enterprise module systems meet all the client’s requirements.
Required Skills: 1+ Years IT Experience
- Experience collaborating with Business & IT to translate business requirements into functional specifications, and data mapping documentation.
- Experience supporting Medicaid or Healthcare IT Systems/software development projects.
- Workflow mapping, Business Process (BPM) diagramming using Visio or related tool.
Desired Skills:
- 1+ year of experience with Agile/SCRUM system development methodologies.
- Experience with projects that included large system replacements with multiple implementation phases.
- Experience with large projects with many interdependent technologies
- Experience working with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Support large scale integration of a centralized state system with numerous geographically diverse local systems and organizations
- Experience and/or familiarity with Enterprise Architecture (EA), Enterprise Services Bus (ESB) technology and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
