Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes and ensure efficiency in our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, process improvement, and lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities:JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Manager is responsible for managing a team of 4-8 field staff and constructing 4-8 mid and large size remodeling projects concurrently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The Production Manager (PM) is a leadership position for a construction division at Gaspar’s. The PM typically has 10+ years of relevant construction experience.
· The PM is responsible for managing a team of 4-8 field staff and constructing 4-8 mid and large size remodeling projects concurrently. The revenue goal for a PM is $4 - $6 million per year. The PM works with the sales and design team to evaluate the feasibility of upcoming projects and help with value engineering.
· The PM will conduct an estimate review meeting with the Estimator before a job is sold into production and write a schedule for the project.
· The PM will order key materials and oversee the “buy out” of the project by the Project Leads and Project Engineers. The PM will work closely with a Project Lead 2 to manage every project to a successful completion.
· Budget tracking and payment collections are the responsibility of the PM, as is subcontractor management. Our client experience is managed by the PM. The PM will help with hiring, discipline, and training of field personnel.

· 10+ Years experience in construction
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS:
· Maintain a Washington State Drivers License in good standing

· Physical Demands: Work is performed both in an office environment and at jobsites. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from a phone or computer. May be subject to repetitive motion computer work. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping,hammering and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Manage and optimize production processes to meet quality and efficiency goals
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
- Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
- Oversee inventory management and supply chain activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- Proven experience in plant management and production planning
- Strong knowledge of MRP systems and mechanical processes
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing lean manufacturing practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and drive operational improvements
- Experience in supply chain management is a plus
