Work Type: Full Time / 36 Hours per Week / 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Requirements: Registered Polysomnographer & High School Diploma/GED
Summary:The Polysomnographer is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses associated within the practice of sleep medicine. S/he is required to perform multiple types of sleep testing as ordered by the sleep providers. S/he will also be required to work with the mask fitting clinic, ensuring patients that they receive the proper fit and usage of their sleep equipment. Polysomnographers must be well trained in usage of the testing equipment and report any problems to the Clinical Coordinator, Lead Technician, or the Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders center. Documentation in clinical notes and during the testing procedure is mandatory to ensure that the best results are obtained during the reading and scoring of these tests.
