Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area for guests, ensuring it is clean and well-stocked
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Assist guests with any questions or requests they may have regarding the breakfast options
- Handle food in a safe and sanitary manner, following all health and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area throughout the shift, including clearing tables and restocking supplies
- Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed to ensure a consistent breakfast experience for guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of food from the kitchen to the breakfast area
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary
Skills:
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Guest relations: Ability to provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for guests
- Culinary: Basic understanding of culinary principles and techniques for food preparation
- Knife skills: Proficiency in using knives safely and effectively for food preparation
- Helpfulness: Willingness to assist guests with their needs and provide support to other team members as needed
- Hospitality: Understanding of the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Restaurant experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food service environment is preferred
- POS system knowledge: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems for processing guest orders and payments
- Cleanliness: Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Guest services: Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
