Wave Central, now a Domo Broadcast Systems (DBS) company, creates professional, high-quality RF wireless video solutions for broadcasting, sports, entertainment, cinema, and other commercial applications. Our wireless transmission systems support our point-point ultra-low latency COFDM waveform and mesh TDMA protocol. All our products are engineered, hand-built, tested, and serviced in our Carlisle, Pennsylvania office. We aim to provide the highest picture quality with the lowest latency possible. What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Director of Operations the Quality Control & Assembly Technician will be involved in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of our market leading products, ensuring that the final products are processed to the highest quality standards and in line with our preset production schedules.
As a junior member of our production team, you will be provided with training and development to develop your skills to be able to:
- Assemble & manufacture low volume production runs aligned to standard operations procedures.
- Delivery of products in accordance with the production schedule and customer requirements.
- Conduct inspections of products to evaluate quality.
- Identify any deviations from our standard operating processes and raise issues and concerns where support is required.
What makes a successful Quality Control & Assembly Technician?
We are seeking applications from highly motivated and engaged team members that have experience with an industrial environment and are keen to learn and develop their existing skills. We offer training and support so that you can establish the core skills required and then provide an environment where you will be able to demonstrate your ability to grow within our technical manufacturing, assembly, and testing environment.
Although not mandatory exposure to any of the following will be highly regarded.
- Testing equipment, including spectrum analyzer, watt meter, power supply
- Electronics soldering and assembly techniques.
