Job Description:
WATCHTOWER Firearms is looking for a Finishing Technician I / II for both First and Second Shift who is responsible for operating and maintaining Sandblasting, Shot-Peening, Tumbling and Deburring equipment used in the Finishing process in our Spring Texas Manufacturing Facility.
· Operate and maintain Finishing equipment to prepare materials for coating.
· Monitor deposition processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of Finishing equipment.
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Document process parameters and results accurately.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.
· Stay updated on advancements in Finishing technology and recommend improvements to processes, materials and equipment.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in a relevant field preferred.
· 3+ Experience operating and maintaining Finishing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong Understanding of Chemicals and materials used in the finishing coating process.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 5+ Years Experience with specific types of finishing processes.
· Familiarity with finishing systems.
· Basic understanding of materials and processes for multiple types of finishing.
· Experience and interest in the firearms Industry.
