Volunteer and CLE Manager
Job Description
Summary of Position: Responsible for planning, implementation and coordination of all bar association continuing legal education programs. Serve as staff liaison to MCBA sections and divisions, including attendance at section/division meetings.
Program Administration
- Plan and implement (80) eighty seminars annually with Program Coordinator.
- Oversee and manage all MCBA sections and divisions.
Finance Duties
- Oversee processing of substitutions, cancellations, and transfers of registrations.
Marketing in conjunction w/ Marketing Coordinator
- Review all marketing and promotional materials for the ML newsletter, direct mail promotions, and outside publications.
- Coordinate development, production and distribution of all marketing materials.
- Direct interdepartmental communications and volunteer correspondence.
- Maintain current mail lists and database for mass flier communications, and targeted special mailings to members and non-members with membership department.
- Perform administrative duties for the Divisions & Sections.
- Update and maintain sections and divisions rosters.
- Send meeting notices, and help section and division leaders compose monthly meeting agendas.
- Attend all section and division meetings.
- Assist with meetings.
- Assist in coordinating of special projects and activities.
- Maintain section and division records (meeting minutes, correspondence, and board recruitment and elections).
- Maintain list of sponsors.
- Track MCBA sponsorship obligations to ensure that sponsors get the recognition promised for sponsorship level.
- Work with ED and marketing coordinator to create annual event, CLE, and section and division sponsorship opportunities.
Filing and Record-keeping
- Track seminar registrations, publication, and product sales.
- Maintain all CLE programs to meet State Audit Guidelines
- Work with CLE coordinator to maintain CLE master materials and registration records for state and finance audit purposes.
- Oversee materials compilation and statistics for all programs for credit.
Other
- Serve as staff liaison to MCBA committees as assigned by Executive Director.
- Maintain current knowledge of the structure, function, policies, and primary objectives of the MCBA.
- Perform such other tasks and duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director.
Experience; Working with volunteer boards and organizing events. Highly detailed, excellent telephone skills: competent in cross-selling services; competent in Microsoft Office products (Word Excel, & PowerPoint), data entry and order processing; well organized; able to balance several concurrent tasks and follow through on assigned projects with minimal supervision and be a team player. Must appreciate the urgency of deadlines and be willing to complete rush jobs on time. Must be able to work with a variety of member volunteers and with the organization’s management.
Must be able to move tables and chairs, lift 25 pounds

Salary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
