Audrey Signs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-time, In-Office Production Assistant to join our NYC team and play a pivotal role in contributing to our continued success. This position requires experience in a manufacturing and/or creative environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work under guided deadlines. You will work closely with various internal departments as needed to successfully create orders accurately and promptly. Knowledge of sign making processes and materials is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
Expectations:
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of signage products, ensuring high-quality output.
- Operate and maintain production equipment such as printers, plotters, laminators, and CNC machines.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Organize and manage inventory of materials and supplies, maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop space.
- Support the production team with daily tasks and special projects as needed.
- Assist with packaging and shipping of completed products to clients.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure punctuality, responsibility, and professionalism in all tasks.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven and target-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to consistently meet instructed deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of initiative.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn company-specific software.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW is a plus.
Required Background:
- Experience working in a manufacturing and/or creative environment is required.
- Native or fluent English speaker.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Proficient computer skills in Google Workspace AND ability to learn other Company used software.
- Experience within the Signage Industry is not mandatory, but it is highly preferred.
Salary Range is $40,000 - $60,000
- Final offer based on experience, Bonus Incentives available for discussion.
- PTO and Holidays are available after 1 month of employment.
- 401k plans and accrued vacation are available after 12 months of employment.
