Department Manager
Duties:
- Supervise and lead a team of employees in the department
- Train and develop staff members to ensure high-quality customer service
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Oversee cash handling procedures and reconcile cash registers
- Collaborate with other department managers to achieve overall store goals
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
Skills:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Retail management experience preferred
- Proficient in sales techniques and strategies
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and phone etiquette
