About the Job
We are seeking talented individuals to work on industrial project sites. Successful candidates will help management of construction projects as part of a broad engineering, architectural and project management team. The professional will be a member of our construction management department and his/her responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Establishes and manages site safety procedures
- Management of site, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
- Assists in project management (development of project scope, budget, and schedule)
- Coordinating the schedules and work of contractors for building and process disciplines
- Overseeing process & utility equipment installations
- Permitting, code and regulatory approval
- Change order administration
- Coordination of field engineering
- Adherence to project construction schedule and construction documents/specification
- Inspection coordination
- Management of facility start up
- Manages 3rd party testing and inspection
**This role is client facing and you will need to work collaboratively with owners, subs, building officials, and our A/E team. This will be a 4-5 year long project. Upon completion of the project, the Construction Manager will be ask to work on other projects that may be outside of the state of AL. Our projects are located throughout the United States and Canada. So, travel would mostly be required upon completion of the Birmingham, AL project. DG projects typically last from 6 to 12+ months. Meal and lodging per diems are provided along with reasonable travel provisions. Up to 100% overnight travel is required based on project needs.**
About You
- 5+ years experience with Construction Jobsite Control and Project Management
- 5+ years experience in Contractor/Supplier Management
- Safety and Risk Management (OSHA Certification preferred) experience
- 5+ years of Construction Scheduling experience
- 5+ years of Industrial Building Construction experience
- Process Utilities and/or Process Equipment Installation a plus
- Bachelors’ degree preferred
- Requisite proficiency with MS Office including Excel and Project

Pay: $90,000.00 - $127,000.00 per year
