Messiah Lifeways is a non-profit organization headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA, that provides a network of services for adults 55 and better living in South Central PA. Our roots trace back to 1896, when the Brethren in Christ Church founded Messiah Home in Harrisburg, PA to serve older adults with Christ-like love.
Who You Are

If so, you would be an ideal candidate to become our Recruiter for our talent team! Working in tandem with the Talent Acquisition Manager, you would provide a positive experience for both our candidates seeking meaningful employment and team leaders within our organization. This position works during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm).

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with our team leaders and support them by identifying team needs,
- Drive all full cycle recruitment efforts (sourcing, reviewing applicants, interviewing, checking references, and presenting offers)
- Attend career fairs and other career focused interests events as needed
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders through all stages of the recruitment process
- Partner with the Onboarding Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding and orientation
- Leveraging social media platforms to build upon our community branding
- Maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify any opportunities for improvement to recruitment and hiring practices
- Assist with other recruitment - related administrative tasks as needed
What Else You Should Know
- A minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience in a high volume recruitment setting; experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of human resources Information Systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems (Paycom experience preferred), and other similar software tools
- A willingness new systems and practices to grow their professional development
- Demonstrates high emotional intelligence
- Working knowledge of Google Suite preferred
- Manages time efficiently to prioritize tasks and successfully completes tasks
