This position is for a senior services case manager in our Family Resource Center. A Bachelors Degree in social work, psychology, human services, education, or related field, and a minimum of 6 months of verifiable direct case management experience in a closely related field is preferred. Knowledge of local resources and HMIS knowledge preferred. Dependable transportation and a Nevada Drivers license are required.
Process rent and utility and other appropriate assistances for a caseload of 20-25 cases at a time. Responsibilities are varied and will include working with seniors in crisis and on the verge of experiencing homelessness and processing financial case files. This position is heavily administrative. Strong attention to detail and the ability to process paperwork in a quick and efficient manner are essential
This position reports directly to the Family Resource Center Supervisor.
Other responsibilities will include:
-Screen clients who are facing eviction for rental assistance
-Meet with clients in person, over the phone or over video call to collect information and complete rental assistance applications
-Keep accurate and updated notes regarding the assistance provided to each client
-Entry into HMIS database
-Ability to maintain confidentiality with all client data
-Basic computer skills including excel, Microsoft word, Outlook, data entry, scanning and uploading documents.
