Responsibilities:
- Support the Buyer in analyzing market trends and making informed purchasing decisions
- Conduct market research to identify qualified vendors for various goods and services.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved sourcing.
- Analyze and compare suppliers based on price, quality, lead times, and other key factors.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and minimize risks.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
- Manage and improve vendor relationships to build strong partnerships
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, economics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures and best practices preferred.
- Ability to speak multiple (Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean) languages preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in negotiation and vendor management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Data analysis skills (e.g., Excel, SQL) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Occasional traveling overnight may be required.
