Full Job Description
The Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Facility Director, MD and clinical coordinator to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve diagnostic polysomnography, therapeutic services, patient care and education.
Minimum Requirements:
· Possess current BLS CPR certification
· Ability to perform routine sleep studies and titration sleep studies
· Ability to perform home sleep apnea testing set-ups
· Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment used in the sleep lab setting
· Provide age-appropriate patient care
· Maintain continuing education as required
Preferred Qualifications:
· 1+ years of experience in a Sleep Lab setting
· Experience with scoring
· Experience with home sleep testing

Working Conditions:
· Well-lit, comfortable working environment where there are no temperature or noise discomforts
· Regular walking, standing, pushing of equipment and some lifting
· Some assisting and positioning of patients, as well as possible contact with blood or bodily fluids
