Pain Zero is a growing Interventional Pain practice with four locations in the Columbus, Ohio area (Grove City, New Albany, Westerville and Hilliard)! We are growing quickly, and are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team! We need someone who can start in July and may involve commuting to all locations.
If you are well-organized, love a fast-paced environment, have experience with checking patients in and out, taking and making phone calls, scheduling, and using an EMR system, we would love to hear from you! Experience with pain practices and eClinicalWorks are added bonuses, but are not requirements.

General Summary:
Perform various administrative duties to support the operation of a busy interventional practice. The position is best suited for an energetic and highly motivated employee that is capable of multitasking.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Example of Essential Duties:
1) Answering phones - courteously and professionally.
2) Scheduling appointments, lab tests, surgeries, etc.
3) Verifying referrals and/or pre-certifications.
4) Updating insurance information.
5) Answering general patient questions.
6) Taking messages accurately and relaying to appropriate personnel.
Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):
7) Collecting co-pays.
8) Preparing and/or submitting charge tickets.
9) Preparing and cleaning exam rooms.
10) Sorting, filing and scanning patient charts.
11) Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Required:
- Excellent communication, phone, and organizational skills required.
- Intermediate Computer skills
- Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within the established time frame.
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles and work assignments.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred:
- Previous clerical experience in a medical/dental office is highly preferred.
