Job description
IBS is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department
- Develop and implement a Human Resources program that is aligned with company goals and objectives
- Oversee recruitment efforts to fill all open positions in the organization
- Provide leadership and guidance to all employees within the organization (interns, new hires, returning employees, etc.)
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic form (i.e., employee leave requests, disciplinary actions, etc.)
- Manage internal and external communications (i.e., employee leave requests, disciplinary action, etc.)
- Coordinate and oversee the hiring process with new hires and existing employees (training, onboarding, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding employment (i.e., employment regulation)
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed in accordance with company standards and quality standards (EEO)
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Three to five years of experience working as a HR Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR policies and procedures; knowledge of labor laws; ability to manage human resources resources including new hires; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to work independently; strong organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of employees.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
