Purpose of this position
The Associate Attorney is the main provider of direct legal services to our clients and should be a natural relationship-builder and influencer to create confidence with clients and ensure engagement with the team.
Essential Responsibilities
· Conduct initial consultations and provide advice and counsel to our clients.
· Research and analyze legal issues.
· Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations and depositions.
· Draft documents such as pleadings, motions, objections, responses and more.
· Work with Managing Partner regarding case strategy and process.
· Manage caseloads and schedules.
· Negotiate with opposing counsel.
· Communicate with court personnel, opposing counsel, clients and 3rd parties related to the client’s matter.
· Directly supervise the legal support and paralegal resources including goal setting, coaching and evaluations.
· Update matters into the Clio case management software system.
· Various other duties as assigned.
Skills, experience and education
· Law degree from an ABA-accredited university
· Admitted to the Florida Bar
· At least 3 years of experience in one or more of our practice areas
· Maintains poise and confidence under pressure

Salary will be commensurate with experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
