This means we need marketing expertise engrained in our operations equipped with leading edge capabilities, tools, and methodologies. These need to be developed and embedded throughout the business, to keep pace with consumers and get ahead of the competition.
In this highly visible role, you will manage orchestration and adoption of Marketing & Growth Organization playbooks and guidelines into all parts of the company, operationalize the marketing programs within the BUs, and work to embed core tenets of our Marketing Charter and Guiding Principles through scaled efforts to build company-wide adoption of best-in-class marketing across AT&T. This role will lead operations for AT&T’s Marketing Excellence Program focused on recruiting, retaining, and developing marketing talent that will further propel AT&T’s transformation. This includes but is not limited to program operations, lifecycle strategy and execution from recruiting through onboarding, and cohort experience including establishing and executing an internship and alumni program.
The ideal candidate would be considered a subject matter expert in marketing fundamentals and have experience in driving change. They should be grounded in the strategies of learning and development with an innovative lens towards skills transformation. Typically assigned long-range projects requiring diverse marketing theories and techniques. May require considerable working knowledge of other major areas and the skill to integrate and communicate that information. Considered an expert within the discipline.
Key Responsibilities:

20%: Leads AT&T Marketing Excellence Program lifecycle including recruiting strategy and execution, hiring and onboarding, as well as the alumni program

20%: Manages program relationships internally through HR and key partners, as well as externally through university relationships and conferences to drive recruiting strategy

20%: Develops strategy and executes against plan for an internship program that serves as an ongoing pipeline for talent into the fulltime program

20%: Oversees Marketing Excellence Program experience including mentoring, committees, and engagement

20% Leads AT&T Marketing Excellence Program operations including but not limited to budget and events management
Qualifications:

Leadership development program management experience required including but not limited to program lifecycle management, recruiting/interviewing/hiring for development programs, program operaions, and leadership development.

Experience in holistic marketing across multiple brands at large companies

Expert in leading development programs, particularly within the marketing domain

Expert in learning and development with an eye towards innovative solutioning; experience with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new hire employees

Experience in project management including creation of communications

Experience with marketing talent development strategy best practices and emerging trends to drive organizational innovation and advancement

Management of large-scale teams and projects, including cross-functional collaboration

Experience in talent development or related fields

Executive presence to inspire confidence with internal and external constituents

Collaborative: willing to roll up their sleeves with the team and get close to the details as well as interface with and influence senior leaders across the firm

Strategic and operational; able to think through challenges and build ground-up solutions

Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects including events management
Education & Experience:
Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred
Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of experience in Marketing
